At Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, there is certainly something for everyone. So pack up your sunscreen and hit the slopes! Recommended Activities: Welcome to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park! Whether you're into fast, thrill rides or softer, easier going slides, you'll find it all here at this one-of-a kind water park. Upon arrival to this whimsical ski resort turned Water Park, you may want to find a locker for your personal belongings, and lock things like purses, billfolds, and hats up for the day. You'll find the lockers at Snowless Joe's, just inside the park. Now you're off to the races, if you arrive early enough, you'll want to secure a lawn chair. For the thrill seekers in the group, about four must-see attractions await them: Downhill Double Dipper, Slush Gusher, Toboggan Racers, and the tallest & fastest water slide in the U.S.A - Summit Plummet. You'll find them all on Mount Gushmore. Everything is well marked, so just take off up the mountain, and tackle each of them one at a time. For the more easy going folks in your group, there are about six slides and attractions that you will not want to miss. The tamer water slides are: Runoff Rapids, Ski Patrol Training Camp, Snow Stormers, and Teamboat Springs, which you can ride with the entire family (up to six people) on one large raft! Cross Country Creek is a "lazy river", which allows Guests to float through the entire park with total ease and relaxation. Very little effort will need to be put forth to enjoy this refreshing journey around the Park. Melt Away Bay is another way to cool off in a relaxing swimming pool. If you get hungry during your day on the slopes, that will be no problem at all. Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park has two different choices for lunch: Avalunch, which serves burgers and other light entrees, and Lottawatta Lodge, which is a ski lodge serving burgers, pizzas, salads, and sandwiches. Delicious desserts and cold beverages are also available. If you are in the mood for a frozen concoction or two, the Polar Bear Pool Bar serves refreshing adult beverages and other cool drinks for everyone!
