Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge
If you are a big fan of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, then staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge during your next vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort would be a great selection. Located adjacent to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, this lodge offers guests views from their rooms that no other resort can offer. Instead of looking out to a courtyard or pool, many of the 1,307 rooms at this resort offer views of giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other wild animals grazing through a 33-acre African savanna. And if that wasn’t enough to entice you, this resort is also home to the newest Disney Vacation Club property, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas.
Guests who are staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, which opened in 2001, will become immersed into the African theme that is carrier throughout, from the architecture and design of the actual hotel itself to the unique African-theme restaurants that patrons can dine in. Among the many amenities at this deluxe hotel include a health club and spa, room service, a zero-depth entry pool with a 67-foot waterslide, “Simba’s Clubhouse,” which is a good spot to drop the kids off for a parent’s night out while the children participate in supervised activities, and many other children’s programs, including cultural safaris, animal watching at dusk with night vision, and opportunities to see many of the animals up close and personal as either a junior researcher or by watching animal trainers feed the animals.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas combines all of the amenities of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge with the comforts of home. The villas offer standard guest rooms, deluxe guest rooms and suites that have a separate kitchenette and sitting area. Most rooms at the villas come with additional amenities such as high-speed Internet access, irons and ironing boards, coffee makers, refrigerators and in-room safes.
But no matter which resort you choose to stay at, you will always have the privileges that are associated with staying at a hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort. You will enjoy Extra Magic Hours (before the parks open and after they close), in which only resort guests get to experience the best attractions with much lesser crowds. If you are flying into Orlando International Airport, you can also take advantage of Disney’s Magical Express Transportation, which picks you up and takes you to your Walt Disney World Resort free of charge. Transportation is also complimentary on-site at your resort hotel, as you can hop on a bus and be shuttled anywhere on property without ever having to spend a dime to park or worry about how to get where. There are other resort benefits as well, such as the Disney Dining Plan, an offer where you can save 40 percent on dining on over 100 restaurants across property, as well as complimentary package delivery and amazing facilities that only Walt Disney World Resort guests can enjoy. We here at Orlando Fun Tickets hope you enjoy your stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas.
