Each of the four Disney theme parks have multiple quick service and full service restaurants, and you also have character dining and dinner shows to choose from, just to name a few! And, of course, there are also restaurants at each of the Walt Disney World Resorts, with many luxury restaurants at the deluxe resorts such as Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and there are also options to choose from at Downtown Disney as well.

So if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, how do you decide whether to stay on property to eat or whether to venture off to Highway 192 in Kissmmee? A lot may have to do with the fact of whether or not you have a means on transportation, but what are the major differences in eating at Disney or outside? It is also important to remember that eating at a Disney restaurant does require theme park admission, so if you are not planning on going into a park on a particular day, you will probably not want to use a day’s ticket just to go in to eat. In that case, you may be better off eating at one of the fine Disney establishments on your days in the parks and then save the many options on Highway 192 for your other vacation days.
