Echo Lake Merchandise

Right at the end of Hollywood Boulevard and to the left of this main street at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Echo Lake area, otherwise known as the home of attractions such as the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! and the soon-to-be-opened American Idol Experience and restaurants like the 50s Prime Time Cafe and Hollywood & Vine. Since this area is an extension off of Hollywood Boulevard, it is no wonder that there are also many options here for those who wish to do a little bit of shopping as they head in or out of the park.

The first, and most visible, merchandise location in perhaps the entire park is located at the end of Hollywood Boulevard and underneath the park’s main icon, Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat. Guests might not think to walk close enough to see, but there is actually a pin-trading store nestled just beneath this larger-than-life statue where you can find any and every Disney pin you have ever dreamed of, along with accessories such as lanyards. Just to the left of the hat is the old ABC Theater, which is not being converted into the new American Idol Experience, an attraction that is set to open in early 2009 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Although this attraction caused this theater and the Golden Age souvenir shop that was next to it to shut down, expect a new store to open up here with all of the American Idol items you can imagine, including T-shirts and other clothing items, toys, cds and more!

Located just across Echo Lake is the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, which features two merchandise locations (one next to the entrance and another larger store at the exit next to the 50’s Prime Time Café). These stores are full of adventure-themed and “Indiana Jones” merchandise, including costumes, toys, posters, souvenirs and memorabilia from the movies and even adult leather jackets and hats.
