Magic Kingdom Attraction Description

Adventureland
Jungle Cruise – One of the Magic Kingdom Park’s original rides from 1971, you will hear corny, yet funny, jokes as you ride on a safari boat through a manmade river and see life-size audio-animatronics animals on this 10-minute adventure.

Pirates of the Caribbean – Captain Jack has now joined the crew! This updated attraction features Captain Jack and his nemesis Barbossa interacting with some of your favorite audio-animatronic buccaneers, along with new special effects as well.

Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse – This giant treehouse that guests of all ages can explore features over 30,000 life-like polyethylene leaves on 1,400 man-made branches.

The Enchanted Tiki Room Under New Management – With new hosts Iago and Zazu from The Lion King, this show has over 225 audio-animatronic birds that sing and entertain guests for an almost 20-minute performance.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin – Very similar to the Dumbo attraction, you can hop on a magic carpet and ride, as your moving carpet goes up and down by your controls. Spitting camels may even provide a bit of a mist during your journey as well!

Frontierland

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – This four-minute, high-speed attraction takes you on a train through a man-made mountain. Over 2,500 feet of track, 20 audio-animatronic characters and more than 0,000 worth of real mining equipment help to authenticate the ride.

Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade – This old-Western style shooting gallery is not included in the price of your admission, but is a fun break to anyone wanting to test their aim.

Country Bear Jamboree – Twent life-size audio-animatronic bears and creatures perform country music in this 17-minute show that will have you singing and clapping right along with the bears.

Splash Mountain – This water ride is more than just a boat that takes a 52-foot drop at a 45-degree angle while traveling more than 40 mph. In fact, this is an 11-minute boat ride with several smaller drops and dozens of singing audio-animatronic characters singing “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah” along the way.

Tom Sawyer Island – Hop aboard the Tom Sawyer log rafts and journey over to this man-made island in the center of the Rivers of America. You will encounter dirt paths to follow, bridges to cross and plenty more to explore.

Liberty Square

Liberty Square Riverboat – The Richard F. Irvine is a real sternwheeler steamboat that picks up passengers and takes them for a 15-minute ride around the Rivers of America.

The Hall of Presidents – This 20-minute presentation gives a history lesson as incredibly lifelike audio-animatronic re-creations of all of America’s presidents as they come to life on stage.

The Haunted Mansion – This Walt Disney World classic takes you on an eight-minute ride through a haunted mansion where you will face all kinds of special effects in this technologically-advanced attraction.

Tomorrowland

Stitch’s Great Escape – Experiment 628 goes haywire, and your mission is to help capture Stitch as you join The Galactic Federation’s security division.

Space Mountain – This high-speed roller coaster is completely in the dark and makes you feel as if you are seated in a rocket that is racing through space. This ride is definitely one of the most popular attractions at the Magic Kingdom Park, so expect the longest wait times in the park here.

Astro Orbiter – Enjoy a great view of Tomorrowland from above as you sit in a rocket that travels high above the ground in circles.

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress – Follow an audio-animatronic American family during the early 1900s, 1920s, 1940s and present day to explore the technological advances through the years. This was one of Walt Disney’s personal favorites and one that he created himself.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority – Take a 10-minute tour of Tomorrowland while getting a sneak peek inside Space Mountain and all of Tomorrowland’s other attractions.

Tomorrowland Indy Speedway – Drive a sports car along this 2,000-foot guided track at a clip of about seven mph.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin – Climb aboard a ZP-27 space cruiser and take an adventure into what seems like a real-life video game, as you shoot at targets while trying to obtain the highest score possible (and if you max out your points, you too can be a galactic hero!).

Monsters Inc., Laugh Floor – Help Mike Wazowski and his pals power the city of Monstropolis with a new kind of energy – laughter!

Fantasyland

Cinderella’s Golden Carousel – This attraction is one of the world’s largest carousels and one of the original rides at the Magic Kingdom Park. You can pick one of 72 hand-carved horses of which to ride upon.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant – Fly high above Fantasyland in Dumbo on this two-minute ride that is for kids only.

“it’s a small world” – Another of the Walt Disney World Resort classics, this colorful, 10-minute boat ride will take you through several rooms where audio-animatronic children from around the world are all singing the catchy jingle in their native language.

Peter Pan’s Flight – This three-minute journey to Never Never Land is a condensed version of the Peter Pan story.

Mad Tea Party – Sit in an oversized tea cup and spin around for the two-minute ride, which is sure to leave you dizzy for a good two minutes after you get off!

Snow White’s Scary Adventures – This three-minute adventure depicts several popular scenes from the animated movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh – Take a whirlwind visit to the mysterious world of Heffalumps and Woozles with classic Winnie the Pooh characters, including Tigger and Piglet.

Mickey’s Philharmagic – If you love the classic Disney animated features, you will love this new 3-D show. Travel with Donald Duck as he goes on a journey through all of the popular Walt Disney animated feature movies in search for Mickey’s hat. Along the way, expect some rather interactive features that you won’t find in most 3-D movies!

Pooh’s Playful Spot – Slide, jump and splash at this new 6,300 square-foot play area that is designed just for toddlers.

Mickey’s Toontown Fair

Donald’s Boat –This grounded boat is a water play area where the fun never “dries up.”

Mickey’s Country House and Judge’s Tent – Explore the home of the Mouse himself, then head on back to the Judge’s Tent to meet the big guy and get a photo with the head honcho.

Minnie’s Country House – Much like Mickey’s, you can explore the pink and purple house of Minnie Mouse and then go to the backyard, where Minnie is waiting for photo opportunities by the gazebo.

The Barnstormer at Goofy’s Wiseacre Farm –This ride is the only roller coaster inside Mickey’s Toontown Fair and has enough speed to keep the little ones who can’t go on the big coasters yet thrilled.

Toontown Fair Hall of Fame – Meet and greet many of your favorite Disney characters throughout the day – it is the best place to hit up a lot of character all in one place!
