The Richard Petty Driving Experience offers either drive or ride-along programs. The ride-along experience puts guest’s shotgun in a two-seat stock car that is driven by a professional driver. For $ 99 plus tax, this three-lap NASCAR qualifying run will give you a taste of the real thing at speeds of up to 150 mph.

The driving programs at the Richard Petty Driving Experience ranges from the Rookie Experience (regularly priced at $ 399), the King’s Experience ($ 799) and the Experience of a Lifetime ($ 1,249). The Rookie Experience lets you get behind the wheel after safety and instruction training in the car and on the track. Then, you are let loose for eight laps around the speedway in a V-8 NASCAR-style racecar! With the King’s Experience, guests will experience two sessions in the car – eight laps in the first session and 10 in the second that feature an increase in speed and power! Drivers also get one-one-one feedback from a pit instructor as well as instruction from the on-track driving instructors. This package also includes a graduation packet that has a lap-by-lap time sheet breakdown. Finally, for the Experience of a Lifetime, you will be able to have all of the extras named above, but you will be taming the speedway in three sets of 10 laps each for a total of 30 rip-roaring laps!
